High tech automation complementing highly skilled labour
Our production facilities located in Yatala, Queensland, Australia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore are capable of accurately producing high quality structural steel using a unique combination of highly skilled labour and automation. Alongside our custom designed robotic coping line, we also have CNC cutting tables, band saws, hydraulic croppers, cranes and welders.
The RoboFab coping line complements the shop by cutting most structural steel members to within 0.5mm tolerance, as well as marking the connection plate positions and numbers as it goes, directly from imported CAD files. This dramatically improves accuracy and produces accurate structural steel, fast.
RoboFab is certified to ISO9001:2005 and fabricates all structural steel to AS4100, all steel exceeds Australian and New Zealand building codes.
CNC capabilities
Our robotic technology allows for cutting, coping and marking of all structural shapes, and sizes.
The highly accurate process is driven direct from CAD files without manual programming, which significantly improves the accuracy of our structural steel fabrication. All connective plate positions are marked with part marks, which enables our welders to place and weld the parts quickly and accurately, saving time and money.

Fabrication
Fabrication is the heart of our business. Our management team have a combined experience of over 70 years supplying and installing thousands of tons of fabricated structural steel for Australian builders and developers.
Our main facility is 80m long and 30m wide and has a 16T crane running the length of it. We have all of the usual fabrication equipment, including large section bandsaws, hydraulic cropping and punching capabilities, and GMAW welding machines.
Our boilermakers have all worked on some of the world biggest oil and gas projects and are trained to deliver quality workmanship. Our ISO9001 quality control ensures checks and reporting for every fabricated component in production.
