The heart of the RoboFab system is our 2.4m reach ABB robotic arm capable of accurately cutting and marking all steel profiles and plate. RoboFab designed and built this cutting edge peice of equipement. Our inhouse engineers and software designers provide a level of expertise in the use of our equipment, that no other fabrication shop can match.
Our unique advantage in robotic design allows our team of experts to quickly update and introduce new capabilities to best suit our customers and projects needs.
The Robofab system is driven entirely off CAD files, which means no costly robot programming, and extremely fast turn-around.
To feed the robot we have developed a material conveyance feature which allows stock lengths to be stored, called up and processed when required based on the nesting sequence. Due to our technology, changing from cutting a beam to a pipe can be achieved in seconds not minutes.
Our fully integrated system will automatically adjust to suit all structural steel sizes, ensuring the cutting torch is maintained at the optimal distance away from the work piece maintaining the weld ready cut quality. The Robofab system utilises quality components such as an Absolute Accuracy ABB robotics arm, Hypertherm High Definition HPR260XD plasma to achieve the highest quality and accurate cuts.
